A festival for students of performance-related study programs

From students of the “Performance Studies” program at the University of Hamburg

NAKT (German: „naked“) is the festival organized by students from the master program „Performance Studies“ of the University of Hamburg which will take place from the 30th of March till the 2nd of April 2017. It is now the fourth time that Hamburg hosts the festival – this time at Kampnagel.

Our focus is placed on exchange and networking among students, in particular in the field of performing arts (“szenische Künste”) within the German-speaking areas. Our tools are: Workshops, Impulse Presentations, Performances, Showings and Performance Jam-Session. We hereby invite students from Art Academies and Universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to confront and deal in a practical way with this year’s topic: unplugged.

When Rock or Pop Music is played „unplugged“, musicians normally use acoustic instruments instead of electronical ones and thereby create a specific acoustic version free of any sound modifications.
